The Xenial app is available for free download; however, it requires a monthly subscription for activation and usage per store location. With the basic subscription plan, you gain access to essential features such as ordering capabilities, dynamic menus, a localized sales tax engine, reporting tools, time clock functionality, payment integration, and payroll processing.
For a slightly higher monthly fee, you can unlock additional functionalities including kitchen management tools, scheduling features, inventory management capabilities, instant data and alerts, manager log and task management, B2C CRM integration, stored value options like gift cards, loyalty program support, customer engagement tools, email campaign features, and single-use coupons.
All data is securely backed up on the cloud offering individual store controls as well as aggregated reporting and data for single or multi-unit operators.
The Xenial app operates locally within the restaurant environment providing services such as ordering processes, menu management, cash handling procedures, payment integration, time tracking functionalities, local reporting mechanisms, and optional kitchen display management support (extra add-on). The fixed monthly pricing structure allows you to install Xenial on multiple devices at your store without incurring additional terminal fees. Whether you have 2 terminals or 20 terminals, the pricing remains the same.
Xenial is designed to be reliable even in cases of internet downtime. The Xenial apps communicate with each other on your local network ensuring uninterrupted service. Advanced features such as reporting tools, inventory management functionalities, labor scheduling options are cloud-based. In case of internet outages, local Xenial apps maintain store operations and continue exchanging order information for up to 30 days. Additionally, all essential local functions remain operational within the apps allowing you to generate end-of-shift and end-of-day reports even without internet connectivity.
No traditional POS servers are required with Xenial. The local apps connect with each other and the cloud exclusively. Network servers are not involved in your store's Xenial setup making it as user-friendly as operating a smartphone.
